I suspect this one is the audio channel of the HDMI connector of your video card, output only.
product: 82801JI (ICH10 Family) HD Audio Controller
vendor: Intel Corporation
physical id: 1b
bus info: pci@xxxx:00:1b.0
version: 00
width: 64 bits
clock: 33MHz
capabilities: pm msi pciexpress bus_master cap_list
configuration: driver=HDA Intel latency=0 module=snd_hda_intel
This one is your built-in audio device in the motherboard chipset (input and output).
Looks like these are the same device?
They have different PCI addresses, so they are likely different devices. They do appear to be using the same driver though. The HDMI audio may be a duplicate of the chipset output, to reduce the complexity of the configuration if you are using your PC as a Home Theatre / Multimedia PC.
