[linrad] MAP65 Beta Testing

Hi Joe

Many thank's for the MAP65 Beta program, I did initial test 
regarding the setup process and decoding based on the tf2 file you 
have in your homepage. I use 2 diferent computers with 2 diferent 
Windows version,


COMPUTER A

P4 2.8 GHz (clone) 1GB RAM
OS: Windows XP Professional

COMPUTER B

Pentium M (Centrino) Notebook DELL Precision M70 2GB RAM
OS: Windows Vista Enterprise Edition

In both computers setup run with out any problem, program start 
with out errors and the tf2 file is decode with out problems. We 
planning to do some test with the antenna this weekend if the weather 
permit us to instal the cable on the feeder, otherwise we pospone 
that for the next weekend.

I apreciate if some body tell me how integrate Linrad and MAP65 via 
the network, I have no idea.

MAP65 version 0.7, r474, is now available for download on 
the WSJT Home Page,

installation file is

You should first read the updated MAP65 Status Report,
http://physics.princeton.edu/pulsar/K1JT/MAP65_Status.txt , 
and then the MAP65 Quick Start Guide,
http://physics.princeton.edu/pulsar/K1JT/MAP65_Quick_Start.txt

This early version of MAP65 works well.  However many 
planned features are not yet in place, and surely there are 
bugs in the code.  I expect that there will be frequent 
updates to the documentation and the program in coming days 
and weeks.

Please report your experiences, bug reports, and "wish list" 
to the Linrad mailing list.
