[linrad] Kernel-headers-2.6.x
The lib/modules/2.6.8-2-386/build simbolic link is added with the
kernel-headers-2.6.x package installation.
Here we have an extract from the files list that kernel-headers package
installs (from the debian web page, as now I am not at home!):

You can see what files a package does install in your debian machine by
typing:
dpkg -L package_name
For example:
dpkg -L kernel-headers-2.6.x (where x matches your kernel version )
Will generate a long list of files.
If you want to quickly find it
dpkg -L kernel-headers-2.6.x | grep build
