Re: [linrad] Re: AC97 Sound card issues.
If you play a .wav file that signal also goes to/out the pcm port. So in
fact using linrad the situation is the same as with a .wav player.
I have svgalib on my laptop.
If I run linrad directly on the console ( not a terminal in X) than I can
switch between linrad and the mixer controls on X without "loosing"linrad.
Again pressing ctrlalt-f2 brings me back in the running linrad. Pity that
linrad stops working once you are in X. That makes setting up the mixer
controls rather messy.
One help is using under X the programme krecord, which has a nice recording
level meter. Than you can easily see how to set your mixer controls. krecord
cannot work at the same time as linrad ( or other users of the input coder)
