RACAL RA1772 is one of the best RX ever made!!! Input IP3 +30dBm with preamp!!! First mixer has four MOSFETS, over +40 dBm IP3 and this is very interesting!!! RACAL did this in abt 1968!!!!!!!!!!!! ICOM engineers are very slow in using modern technology!!! Only abt 40 yrs late with their IC7800 mixer!!!! Heeee!!!I think too much Sake after job?????? So, they are thinking very,v ery slow!!! Heee!!!! I am using two RACALS RA1772 for over twenty yrs...now with the best DSP technology... if you can get one, BUY!!! You will not be sorry!!! Why spend over USD 10000 for IC7800 ???
