Matt's Web Page Editor

This is the front page for Matt's Web Page Editor, which allows users to edit their web pages from their forms-capable browsers rather than from a Unix shell account. This is easier for both users and administrators.

The system is a handful of Perl CGI scripts and .HTML files. You can use it for free, as long as you give me credit. (Look in the documentation for more info.)

This is version 1.2, by the way.

This page would be a good place to put a list of user's pages. I don't have an automatic way to do this yet, but since the whole add-user thing is slightly less than automatic, that's no great loss.

You probably also want to have a link to the Editor Login Screen, and perhaps to a Random Page.

For a quick demo, you can login as "guest" with any password. However, this won't let you see all of the features, so I've set things up so that you can log in as "test" with a password of "test" to get a better demonstration. You'll probably want to edit the people.list file to remove this test user once you get things set up.

Oh yeah, if for some reason you don't actually have the editor script files (like if you're reading this at someone else's web site, like Goshen College's, for example), you can get the latest version here.

If you have problems with that for some reason, Goshen College Student Pages
